If you're feeling overwhelmed this holiday season, don't worry—there's a simple way to reduce stress and find balance: practice a few minutes of tai chi.
What is chi?
Chi, also known as qi, is a universal energy that flows through all living things. It is believed to be responsible for our physical and mental health, as well as our overall well-being. When our chi is flowing freely, we feel energized, balanced, and at peace. However, when our chi is blocked or stagnant, we can experience a variety of problems, including stress, anxiety, and fatigue.
What is tai chi & how does it help manage stress?
Tai chi is a gentle form of exercise that helps to move the chi throughout the body. It is a low-impact activity that is perfect for people of all ages and fitness levels. Tai chi has been shown to help reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. It can also improve sleep quality, boost the immune system, and reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
