What comes to mind when you think of a warrior? Images of courageous soldiers, fierce protectors, and Marvel superheroes might come to mind. But warriors come in all shapes and sizes. Firefighters battling blazes, teachers nurturing young minds, and single parents raising families – these are all warriors too, facing their own unique challenges with bravery and resilience.
So what makes a warrior? Warriors are strong, both physically and mentally. They are determined, focused on their goals and unwavering in the face of difficulty. They are also compassionate, empathetic to the struggles of others and willing to lend a helping hand.

The warrior poses in yoga, Virabhadrasana in Sanskrit, embody these very same qualities. As we hold these powerful postures, we cultivate strength, stability, and focus. But the benefits go beyond the physical. The warrior poses can help us tap into our inner strength, build confidence, and face life's challenges with a warrior's spirit.
